There comes a point where children seem to hate the showers and refuse to take a bath. When this time comes, it seems like a battle between mothers and their children. Suddenly taking a bath is a struggle. However, we cannot just let them have their way, right? Children are especially in need of a bath as they begin running around and playing on a daily, if not hourly basis. Frequently, they come home looking like they’ve been underground. In any case, as we all try to find a solution for this seemingly endless battle, there is one way that could work for your kids. You have to make bathing fun for them so that they’d look forward to it or at least wouldn’t argue with you. There are a lot of ways to do this such as giving them toys when they bathe or allowing them to play in the tub for a bit. Another way that I found to be effective was turning their plain towels into something that they know and love.
Unlike our plain and simple towels, try giving your children fun towels with their favourite cartoon characters on them. You can easily find these in the kid’s towels section. There are a lot of varieties and frequently, they would have the most popular cartoon characters on it. I’m pretty sure, almost all of the cartoons that your children are watching are in there. To make sure that they’d love the kid’s towels that you would get them, let them pick.
If you’re going to your local store, bring them with you and have the store’s personnel show all the designs and the cartoon characters to them. This way they get to see everything and pick out the kids towels that they love the most. If you’re too busy to go and visit your local store, you can search for these online. Have a sit down with them and show them all the available designs and of course let them pick. Order the
children's towels in and excite your kids by having a countdown on when their precious towels will arrive. Every day, tell them just how many days are left before they have their towels. This would give them something to look forward to. Once the package arrives, do not open it. Instead, let your children open it. It would feel like Christmas gifts for them. I’m sure once they see it, they would head on to the showers right away.
